Whew! We’ve been busy editing, but wanted to take a moment to share a gorgeous wedding we had the pleasure of shooting this summer in Traverse City, MI.
I first met Ashleigh and Steve last summer at their engagement session. I could tell right away they were going to be a really fun couple!
Ashleigh and Steve were married at the historic Old Mission Church in Old Mission, MI. Tatum Photo and Design was there to capture Ashleigh as she was getting ready, and we met Steve and his groomsmen at the church later that afternoon…After the ceremony, we had to take advantage of the fact we were in Old Mission, so we stopped at the historic Old Mission General Store. Not only was it a unique place to get some bride and groom pics, but it was a cute little store I’d recommend any visitor to the area stopping in at.
Then, we headed over to the CenterPointe Building in Traverse City to get ready for the reception and get some beautiful shots in the marina. There are few things that exemplify Northern Michigan more than a freshwater marina lined with sailboats. It perfectly matched the nautical tones in Ashleigh and Steve’s attire and decor…The reception was upstairs in the CenterPointe building, overlooking the marina. Ashleigh and Steve had some unique little details in the reception. Take a look! You’ll spot a trail mix assortment, baby cherry pies (in true Traverse City style!) and some sweet little moments between the couple…Thank you, Ashleigh and Steve, for letting Tatum Photo and Design be a part of your wedding day. Wedding photography in Traverse City is always breathtaking, but your day was far and above most. 🙂
