2014 was quite a year for Tatum Photo and Design. It started out like it was going to be a pretty mild year and before I knew it I was looking around going “Wait! Where did the time go!?”
This year was full of trials and tests for our family, all of which I am so grateful we have come through strong on the other side. We had months of fighting for guardianship of my niece, my father falling deathly ill, which was heart wrenching to go through, and months on end of sickness for myself and my toddler. I shot a wedding and 5 engagement sessions the weekend I was diagnosed with pneumonia. It all seemed too crazy to be happening all at once. But God has been faithful and we are all doing better, and my father has been delivered! After being rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery the day after Christmas, our prayers were answered and he no longer needed the surgery when he arrived to the hospital and was 100% back to himself just a couple of days later. We are so SO grateful to have him in our lives still. We were granted guardianship of my niece and we are so thrilled to have her in our home.

I look back at 2014 and I just think about the wonderful clients that came into my life during some of the craziest life events were happening to me. I have truly been blessed with some of the most amazing clients a girl could ask for. We have traveled all over the state, some out of state, and we have photographed some beautiful people in some beautiful places. We feel so fortunate to be working with all of you who have chosen Tatum Photo and Design to capture your special moments.

2015 is gearing up for quite a bit more change for us as we are streamlining our processes and embracing the type of photography studio we want to be. We can’t wait to start a fresh new year and hope we get a chance to work with you this year!
